Great place, mouthwatering food, attentive service! 👌 Strongly recommended! Went as a family with two teenage daughters. And my ladies are the harshest of critics! Verdicts - will be back soon. Paraphrasing ad of one of the famous beer - “Probably the best roast in Ireland” If the ribs are on the menu - just get them!!!

Very nice room. Clean and comfy. Staff was friendly, especially Eleana at the front desk who was wonderful. Short walk to downtown. Good breakfast too.

Quite a comfortable hotel and great location. Didn’t try the breakfast However, it loses a star or two with my taxi experience. I asked reception to book a taxi to Kerry Airport. I also checked whether it was a fixed fee or a meter. The receptionist said the taxis used meters. However when the taxi came I was charged fixed fee of €50 which seems extortionate for a 20 minute trip. Felt a bit like a tourist scam tbh

Very nice room with lots of space, the whirlpool bathtub was a great touch. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great. The dinner in the bar was excellent!

I wish I could give this hotel more stars than 5. This has been a wonderful experience for us. Two nights here, Garlic Roots show one night and a fabulous dinner the second night in Druids. Conveniently located for many day trips. Very close to many pubs, bakeries and shopping. Super friendly staff. I can't say enough about our stay. Thank you, Avenue Hotel, for making our visit to Killarney very enjoyable!

Great location in Killarney. Clean rooms and very accommodating staff that gave us recommendations for the area. Easy walk to all there is in Killarney. Full breakfast to keep us fueled for the day. Would stay here again!

Had my Daughters Communion dinner here on Saturday and would 100% recommend it. The food is delicious the staff so friendly and helpful nothing was a problem and the prices are also very reasonable. Very happy all round

28/10/2024: Beautiful spot, great food. The DJ (Steve?) really added to the atmosphere. Mushroom side dish was the nicest. Cosy on a wet day!
27/10/2024: Food is ok. Hummus with tortilla was not that great. Authentic pita would have been better for 7 euros. Fish and chips were really good and fresh. Truffle pizza was too much cheese and soggy base. Service and atmosphere was fab. But they could add more vegetarian options .

Monk's Lounge

28/09/2024: This was a great spot for a birthday afternoon tea! The location made it a perfect fit in our day of exploring Muckross house and farm. The sandwiches were decent (and generously portioned) and the desserts and scones were outstanding. The tea itself was exceptional! I am tea aficionado and the blends here were first-rate. They also give you control over the steeping process complete with hourglass timer. Both the service and the lounge itself adopts a modern, cosy while still elegant approach to afternoon tea that made the experience a nice break in the middle of a busy day.
31/08/2024: Delicious food and drinks. We had lunch here right before we checked out of the Muckross Hotel and Spa. Wonderful service and atmosphere.
