Bantry House in Bantry legal town

I visited about 15 years ago. I used to wear my hair loosely tied in a scrunchie, I was on the staircase and felt someone touching my hair. There was no one around.

Bantry House is one of the most stunning places in West Cork. Their gardens are a must visit, but if you have time I highly recommend staying in their B&B, breakfast is delicious, attention is second to none and everyone is super friendly, it feels like home. I really can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful country house with a rich history. Well worth it, especially to be shown around. The gardens are beautiful. Many plant and tree species and beautiful ferns. Google Maps sends you to the wrong entrance. Then you have to. Or 2 km further along the bay. You can park there on site.

Such a unique and lovely experience. The guided tour inside the house was beautiful. 10/10

Wow, I wish I had the euros to buy and maintain this stunning place. Perhaps I could afford a night or two next time I'm down this way. The interior of the house is fabulous and the outside surrounds and view are to die for. Be sure to check out the horses heads in the stables (just below the top windows). Also make sure you climb the 100 steps (didn't count them but that's what they are called). The views from the top are superb. All in all well worth the adventure all round. A must see.

Stunning views, tearoom with delicious brownies which feel like they contain 90 percent chocolate, delicious teas and coffee. The gardens are also worth a visit and offer breathtaking views over bantry bay. Good place to spend some time. Also the house is worth a visit and shows the history of West Cork and the family of the Earl's of Bantry Family White

Absolutely incredible experience here. So so beautiful... the grounds, gardens,woodland walk were all just so beautiful 😍 staff so friendly You cannot come to bantry and not vis8t this beautiful house and grounds. Highly recommended for all 🥰

Beautiful garden with great views. Definitely worth a visit. However, we weren't in the house itself. We didn't want to pay the €14 entrance fee per person.

We were shown through the public rooms by the count's descendant. It was very interesting. You can take a look. The garden was very worth seeing.
