Obviously understaffed as we waited 40 minutes from clearing starter to being served main courses. Couldn't fault the Wait staff as they were very apologetic and obviously run off their feet. Colcannon stated on menu but arrived with unseasoned mashed potato. I wouldn't wait any longer for it to be corrected. Overall understaffed, underwhelming and overrated

50a celebración de bodas Celebramos el 50 aniversario de boda de mis padres en Barry’s recientemente. Éramos 12 para la cena y nuestra experiencia fue nada menos que excepcional. Excelente ambiente, servicio amable, excelentes opciones de menú y comida de primera clase y a precios asequibles. Sin duda volveremos.

Encontramos esta joya en nuestro viaje a Cork para visitar Fota Island. Este restaurante se encuentra en el centro de Douglas. Tiene un ambiente encantador feliz, el servicio es rápido y amable. La comida estaba deliciosa, tomé un pastel de pastores, saqué cordero cubierto con sabrosa papa acompañada de verduras. Mi marido tenía el sándwich de carne con patatas fritas cortadas a mano.

08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.

17/02/2025: All in all, it was a great experience! Friendly welcome on arrival and excellent value for money. The service was excellent and very efficient. I had the Sunday roast, which came with a complimentary pot of tea. The roast was nice but could have done with some greens! Nevertheless, a great pub with a nice atmosphere. They show live sport which is a bonus!
