Bastible in Dublin

Each dish was superb, beautifully presented with quality ingredients. The service was prompt and friendly.

We booked last minute for a dinner on Easter weekend, overall it was a really good experience, food and service was really good. Only downside is that portion sizes are very small for what you pay for - even by fine dining standards. For our menu they also tossed in a side of bao bun while we were eating one of the main courses which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, not sure if I really enjoyed it much as it was very random and the texture was nowhere near normal bao and not sure what it added to the meal. Highlights were the asparagus with caviar and the cod with oyster mushrooms, which I just wish were larger portions as they were incredible! We were seated at 8:30pm and the pacing was perfect, didn’t feel rushed at all

This was possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. It surpassed very high expectations going in. The squab main course was absolutely delicious and unique. Not one course wasn’t delicious. The bread and butter pudding for dessert topped off a great meal. Would highly recommend going for the wine pairing.

Fabulous meal. Well deserving of their one Michelin star. The kelp custard course in particular was fantastic. We also got the wine pairing - wine was great, and we felt was very good value.

Fabulous! Staff was very great to work with. The chef was able to modify dishes for my pregnant wife so that she was also able to enjoy the experience. We will be back!

One word. Wow. It was amazing from the start to finish. Definitely deserve their one Michellin star and probably that’s just the start. We had spring tasting menu that had 9 courses for 95 euros. Definitely worth every euros. My fiancé is lactose intolerant and they really were considerate of him and provide alternatives when dairy was involved. The amount of effort they put into each course and the attention to detail is amazing. I couldn’t pick my favourite. Some favorites of the night were squid with xo and cod cockles. Textures were on point, taste was through. Will come back.

Food is amazing, unlike other 1 star Michelin restaurants, the flavours are not too complicated, simply tasteful.

Tasting menu of excellent quality, the raw materials are more than excellent - excellent wine selection... I think it deserves, what is missing is a wider choice of foods...
