Bastible in Dublin

A small, cozy restaurant with an open kitchen. We enjoyed a wonderful tasting menu with paired wines. All the courses were excellent, and the accompanying wines harmonized perfectly with each dish. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful.

A very small restaurant with superb service. It was great not knowing what each course would be so there were no preconceptions. Dan 'the wine man'(!) was brilliant - really nice selection of genuinely different wines. Excellent restaurant.

Very intimate, and excellent food. Some dishes were better than others, but the overall experience, the accommodation for a dietary restriction, and the stand out dishes more than made up for it, especially for the price. The Birthday dessert and candle was a nice touch. I've seen 2* restaurants put in less effort. The lamb was phenomenal and unlike any lamb flavor we've had before.

An excellent and well-balanced menu. We ordered wine pairings, and they were superb, with some surprising and very interesting wines. The table we were seated at was also particularly welcoming. A magnificent experience.

Bastible delivers. There is something surprising and likeable about every dish, without ever getting too experimental. Lovely ingredients are allowed to sing accompanied by intriguing wine choices. Attentive service and relaxed vibe in a stylish minimalistic venue.
