One of the best service and food and had. From start to finish all the staff were very kind and the tasting menu is outstanding, specially the deserts.

Practically perfect in every way. Tasting menu with wine pairing was very reasonable. The food was everything you'd expect from a starred restaurant, and the service was outstanding.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We opted for the 10-course tasting menu and it didn't disappoint. Special mention goes to the scallops! We didn't choose the wine pairing, but I wouldn't say it's necessary; in the end, we enjoyed a very good wine for a truly reasonable price. A well-deserved Michelin star!

i was here yesterday night to enjoy an amazing dinner with a friend of mine, it’s been a great experience. as first point you can breathe a very peaceful and cozy atmosphere, perfect lights and the volume of the music perfect as well. the food was an explosion of flavours for every course we were tasting and i appreciated a lot the match with wines, one different for every dish. i really raccomanda this place, i’ve never been before in a one michelin star but i can’t look forward to go again to taste the next new menu!! i forgot to mention that i had lactose intolerance and they brought me different dishes every time, were incredible! and Danilo our amazing waiter was always paying attention to us and to our needs.

Fantastic spot. The menu is perfectly crafted from beginning to end. Highly recommend especially if you’re looking for an intimate low volume restaurant with high quality cuisine. Great service with about 10 tables and a high top. Loved every minute here.

I had an incredible anniversary dinner here. The food was extremely good and the staff was so lovely and generous. Aoife, the manager, was very charming. Highly recommended. We'll be back for sure.

We had a great time at Bastible tonight The pros first: - nice work around the wine pairings, really nice and well explained. - Fish dishes were amazingly executed with some really beautiful sauces. - dessert were really well designed with some original pairings, loved it however for 5 stars it was coming a little bit short for the price and Michelin star in our opinion for a few little details: - the tempo of the menu, especially at the start felt a bit rushed, we like to take the time to settle in and in between dishes to really enjoy. - the sizes of the dish overall, we felt didn't fill the stomach as much compared to other Michelin star restaurant. Overall we still had a great evening with nice food and lovely service which is the main part! Thanks 🙏

Tasting menu: The razor clam was nicely presented and good but was very disappointing in terms of texture. The seeded bread was still warm and the cultured butter was yum! The rest of the courses were much much better and were really good and special mention to the execution when it comes to cooking fish and seafood related dishes. The sauces you have with the scallops and the cod were unreal. Just a small note on the cod, I didn’t really see/taste the liquorice so that was a bit confusing. Perhaps this is because I’m French but some bread would have been to avoid wasting those delicious sauces/jus. The meat dish was very well cooked and so tender! I wish the waitress had left the jus/sauce and had given some bread to soak up the sauce. The dessert was nice and surprising. Loved the yuzu sorbet it was very refreshing and I love how bold it was by integrating ginger and artichoke however I was really disappointed as a ginger lover I didn’t have the kick from the ginger at all. The petit four (hazelnut financier) was nice as well. The service a bit rushed at the beginning we had the bread and butter served without even knowing whether we were going to get the wine pairing or not. It was a bit too quick for us, this is maybe due to restaurant having 2 services on Saturday night. Overall the service was still good and we got very clear explanations on the dish/wine. This was for a birthday celebration and although this was mentioned in the reservation this was almost missed, thankfully my partner reminded them when I went to the bathroom.

O'Connell's

21/04/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant several times when I've visited Howth, and it never disappoints. They have a wide menu, good quality ingredients, and friendly, attentive service. Plus, the price is excellent for the quality and quantity. The place is also spacious, with dining rooms and tables downstairs (as well as a bar area and terrace), and an upstairs area where you can also eat, even at high tables. I've had everything from fish and chips (crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside), to the fish of the day (they often have a special fish that isn't on the menu), the typical Irish mussels (delicious, with a white wine and cream sauce that's so good you'll want to keep dipping), and my favorite dish: a casserole with a base of crab and haddock (which is similar to cod) in a cream sauce, all baked au gratin and served with mashed potatoes. I think it's one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. If you're in Howth, this place is a must-visit for good food and a few pints.
21/04/2026: We really enjoyed both the service and the food. Good value for money.

La Maison

04/05/2026: My wife and I stopped here for dinner after arriving to Dublin from a long flight. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. The salad was very fresh, and duck breast was cooked perfectly, would highly recommend!
03/05/2026: 10/10 Experience ⭐ Originally booked in for 7.00pm but was in the area early, decided to chance our arm for a table at 6.00pm instead and they immediately accommodated us. Began with crusty bread, olives and pesto. Followed by the French onion soup - perfect Gruyère/onion ratio. Then got the sirloin steak with fries - paired with a glass of the Bordeaux Superieur was heaven! Finished with the chocolate tart - the amarena cherries were fabulous, it was a pity it only came with two. Then they give you some homemade dark chocolate to finish. A complete foodie dream ❤️ servers were lovely and the interior was trés chic. See you soon la maison!!
