Absolutely visit Bastion. The service was excellent, especially Michal. Fresh ingredients and great views.

This is a little gem in downtown Athlone. Really nice food and really nice people. With the imminent closure of Fine's there are going to be very few places to get healthy and delicious options. If only there were a few more seats, but you can't have everything. Bastion kitchen is a star!

Delicious homecooked food, quality food and coffee products, lovely little cozy stop all around!

Exceptional coffee paired with delectable pastries – all organic and absolutely delightful. The staff are warm and welcoming, making the experience even better!

Probably one of the best lunch spots in town

A very small cafe which is quite busy but service is fast and consistent. Food itself is very good and probably one of the best spots in and around Athlone especially for vegan and vegetarian food. Coffee is nothing special but tolerable, could be a bit warmer. They also sell snacks and other miscellaneous treats made by other local businesses. The owner is friendly, other staff are okay.

The food is excellent, the combination of flavours is very good and healthy. Nice, simple and tasteful restaurant. Thank you!
