It's been 4 days since we experiened Bastion's tasting menu and the flavors of the Wagyu beef with mushroom sauce still linger in our heads as one of the best things we've ever put in our mouth. Everything we tasted was amazing but that particular dish was all we talked about the rest of our weekend. Other highlights were the cured langoustine dish and laminated whole wheat roll. Excellent all around - the food, the service, presentation. You will not regret booking your table here.

Dinner was a truly memorable experience. The staff were warm and attentive, and every dish was exceptional, beautifully prepared and presented. It absolutely earned its Michelin stars. We came for a special occasion, and the team made it even more special. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
Such a LOVELY meal at Bastion this last Friday evening! Food was amazing, the service was personal and personable, and the setting was lovely as well. It's a husband/wife operation and their passion for the food and the place comes through in spades. Three of us were gluten free and they were also super considerate about that. Irish wagyu beef course was the best thing I ate on the whole trip.

Helen and the entire team at Bastion were absolutely wonderful. You can tell they are extremely focused on customer experience. The food was incredible, and the wine pairing complimented the courses perfectly. We would love the chance to dine here again!

The best meal in Ireland by a mile.
A small intimate restaurant with just 12 covers but the food was really wow. Each course an absolute gem with such great flavour and massive thought in its creation. Hats off to the chef!
Stand out dishes were the langoustine and turbot, both utterly amazing. The main course duck was a little disappointing, as is often the case, being a little tough but the transition course just so wow and one of the best I’ve ever had!
Dessert not bad either!
A little over priced wine list but did not distract from the overall experience.
Just hope they stay at the top of their game!
