Bayview in Ballycotton

We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Beautiful hotel and top quality service from staff who even had fresh milk delivered to our room at 7.30 am for our baby. This hotel is beautiful and lovely scenery. Breakfast was scarce but nice at the same time.

Had a meal in the restaurant here this week. Food was nice, but pricy. And paid €4.50 for a small cappucino, €3.50 for tea afterwards, this seems very costly after an over-priced dinner! Nice views and lovely staff, but strong sense of rip-off!!

We stayed here for four nights in July 2024. The biggest problem for us was the constant smell of nicotine throughout the hotel. This is probably because there is a permanently installed ashtray right in front of the entrance and the wind constantly blows the smoke into the house. The staff always seemed a bit stressed to us - we rarely saw a smiling face. But the location and the view are great. However, we wouldn't choose it again.
