Very clean and tidy, efficient and polite staff, and a good range of items to choose from. Plenty of seating both inside and outside in the courtyard, but the nearby road can be noisy.

I've only had an espresso twice, and it wasn't good coffee, nor was it well made. I might go back because the place is very comfortable both inside and on the terrace, but I won't be having coffee. The service depends on who's working.

Great customer service staff are so friendly and nice, had a great iced coffee today that one of the lovely girls recommended for me today, place is also nice and clean and just a great atmosphere in there will definitely be back highly recommend it

The Crane Lane

10/10/2026: Crane Lane is an absolute gem in Cork! Every time I come to Ireland, visiting this place is part of my ritual, along with grabbing a chowder at the English Market. :) I absolutely love the vibes here, but a special shout-out to the blond DJ for always bringing such great music and keeping the place alive. The live music, the atmosphere, the people… there’s just something special about this place that makes you feel at home, even when you’re not Irish. Long live Crane Lane! Can’t wait to be back.

The Southern Star

25/03/2026: Nice bar but the young fellas behind it could learn how to serve people properly. I waited to get served for about 10 minutes. They kept serving others who had come to the bar after me. Tunnel vision. I pointed it out to a barman..got a shrug, and he still went & served other people.. he finally came back and took my order 5 minutes later. Very poor service. Chicken Burger I ordered arrived with about 6 chicken goujons inside it...wasnt a burger at all.
