Beetroot Healthy Food in Maynooth

The best food in town! I was in Maynooth for a few days and I had some problems finding veg-friendly options... I found a place friendlier than I could ever hope for! Nidhi's cuisine is fantastic. I trusted her with all of the meals I had at the Beetroot café (that's because I didn't know what kind of food was behind the Indian names!) and I'd sincerely advise you to do the same. The place is so welcoming you end up feeling you're at someone's house. In the photos you can see a potato paratha, a dosa, and the last one is a paneer veg korma curry with hariyali pulav for takeaway (please correct me if I'm wrong). Even if you're in Dublin, it is worth it to take a train, enjoy a nice day in Maynooth and an even nicer meal at the Beetroot café!

Such good food. The staff was also lovely to ask how spicy do I want my dish. I had the dal, they actually made it on the spot so it was fresh and flavoured. Very good prices also, portions are big enough

I am so glad to have found this place. I’ve been staying in Maynooth for a week and have already eaten here three times. For plant-based folks who want healthy, warming options, you won’t find better. The owners have been incredibly gracious and welcoming as well.

It was very clear to me that they are running this business because they like to feed people. Talk to them, and you'll see what I mean. And the food is SO good. It has the heart and simplicity of a home cooked meal, but levels of deliciousness I have never achieved in my life because they can only be found in a restaurant. There's a gem in Maynooth. As a recent immigrant, I will be eating here a LOT.
