Bert’s in Clonakilty

The best restaurant in Clonakilty I would say. Amazing food, very nice place, kind staff. I’ve tried a lot of menu options (they are always changing the menu and including new options) and everything I had, was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Bert’s restaurant. A prime location in the heart of Clonakilty, with free car parking a stone throw away. I ordered the pulled BBQ beef burger, a true masterpiece! One of the tastiest burgers I have ever had. To top it all off, I shared the loaded wedges with my friend as a birthday treat, and to my surprise the entire staff and the other guests sang me happy birthday! The interior of the restaurant was fabulous and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and modern! The staff were so attentive and friendly, even modifying my friends order who wanted no tomatoes in her pesto chicken ciabatta, with no hassle at all! The coffee was delicious, I will be running in for takeaway coffees when passing in the future. Berts truly offers something for every palate. This is a must-visit destination for all foodies! I can’t wait to return to try more items on their menu. 🤤

Excellent food, service and setting.

Nice and cozy place with a quick service and super friendly staff. Menue offers several dishes, which is actually much better than having a huge variety of dishes to sink there. I ordered Avocado eggs, it was delicious 😋, although price was little higher than I expected (€16). Overall, I paid €23 and left fully satisfied with everything.

Had lunch here today and the food was 10/10. Value was fantastic. We had 3 kids, one had French toast and the other two had burgers. One said it was the nicest burger ever. I had avacado eggs, amazing!! Even the dressing on the lettuce. Got a pot of tea for two and lovely big cups too. Highly recommend.
