The sandwiches we got were incredible. The woman that runs it is one of the nicest people you'll meet in Kilkenny, which is really saying something! I highly recommend the barber sandwich.

Hibernian Bar

18/12/2025: Nice pub but at €4.20 for a Fanta it is very expensive
09/12/2025: This bar is part of the Hibernian Hotel, where we stayed for two nights. The atmosphere is very nice, warm, and elegant. We spent a pleasant evening drinking beer and listening to live music. The next day we stopped for lunch, and I have to say the food was really good, albeit quite expensive.
