Fabulous food in a beautiful setting. Busy so be prepared to wait. Welcoming to babies / children with good space in parts for buggies. Lots of options on menu, including for vegetarians. Have eaten here on a number of occasions and the food is always delicious and servings generous. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Galway

fine weather and a busy Sunday. Everyone is at Salthill and everyone is having brunch and getting their coffees as they walk around the sea wall. I asked for dine in and waiting time is 30-40min. Place is not big so waiting time could be long. And the cue for take out is not that long maybe 6 ahead of me and 4 others are waiting for their orders. It was a very long wait and the family ahead of me left. I think there’s only 1 or 2 girls managing the take out orders. Matcha latte is 7/10. I put 2 stars for service because we waited for 20min in the cue and another 7min to get the order. But the staff are very nice. It was just a busy day for them maybe.

Nicest seafood chowder I've ever had

Blackrock Cottage is really great from starters till desert, main dish was top notch quality, great atmosphere and really good service. Food wise you wont get disappointed as chef definitely know how to cook great stuff. We loved the table of the bay view.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere with a diverse and delicious menu. I highly recommend trying this restaurant’s brunch—it’s a delight!
