My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Blackrock Cottage. The restaurant feels very cosy and the food was exquisite, probably one of our best dining experiences in Ireland. I’d consider it a must-do if you’re in Galway !

We visited for breakfast. Nice place. Much bigger inside that it looks from outside. Breakfast menu was first class with a good choice and quality was excellent. Great customer service and good value.

15/08/2025: They give you a lot of food and the ambiance is fantastic. We were craving fish and chips since before we came to Ireland and McDonagh’s did not disappoint.
14/08/2025: Perfect place to eat seafood delicacies! You can't miss their fantastic fish and chips and their oysters, they have an incredible flavor...you can taste the sea! Not to mention their giant and delicious onion rings! There's no table service, you have to wait in line and order, and although it may seem like a long line, it's really very quick and smooth, thanks to the staff! CONGRATULATIONS!

29/06/2025: The chai latte with almond milk was spectacular, and the flat white was also very good. Very fast and attentive service. The place is modern and pleasant.
