What a jewel in Galways crown. Sea views down by the diving section in Salthill. I asked to be surprised in the food I was to eat and boy it didn't disappoint. It would have been so easy to give the standard steak; but no, that was not the case, and I will remember this meal for a long time. I don't normally take pictures of food, but here's a starter for you all. The staff are 100% I look forward to coming back.

Excellent ingredients, skilful cooking, and well-balanced seasoning. If there’s one small flaw, it’s that the perfectly aged steak lacked just a hint of charred aroma. The red wine braised beef（forgot to take photo）, served as a side, was an unexpected delight—absolutely superb.

Gluten Free Options are decent. Anything on the menu with a * can be made GF. The server checked a few things for me with the kitchen before I ordered. In the end I went with the Fish Finger Sandwich and it was class. The bread was B-Free sliced bread, toasted, and it came out well.

Tasty food (I can recommend the chowder). Service was amazing + something I would recommend is there outdoor seating during a sunny day ☀️. Beautiful!

The restaurant is very good, but the service is poor. The food is good (by Irish standards) and tasty. If your table is outside, you’ll enjoy a beautiful ocean view in warm, pleasant weather.

05/01/2025: We went there to the restaurant.And we're seated out by the huge window. The view is absolutely amazing. They are staffed with a good number of very efficient and helpful employees. The appointments for the restaurant are all tasteful and nicely done. This golf club has been around since 1859, so they have had two centuries to get it right. Did I mention the food? I got the salmon and it had a delicate lemon sauce on top of it.Along with carrots, new potatoes, cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked. My companions had the Irish roast beef in the pan fried chicken. I was able to get a bite before she ate it all. Absolutely delicious. I'm sad to report I did not get any of the chicken. I did not take pictures because it is a private club.

16/04/2025: Seems a genuine place. I had a Guinness here tonight for 6.9 Euros.
14/04/2025: Had a wonderful Sunday lunch. Food was excellent. Staff so friendly.
