Food was was delicious and the portions were huge. Great value. The staff were very friendly and the service couldn’t be faulted. Yes the place could do with a lick of paint but overall definitely will be back

Lunchtime get together we had rebooked & preordered. We were being served almost before we sat down. Food was delicious and generous servings. Would be glorious in the summer outdoors also.

We'd call it a village pub. Simply quaint and authentic. Not a tourist pub. Highly recommended. The food was superbly homemade.

Still the best value for lunch in Cork. Food is generous and well prepared plus they do half portions. Staff very friendly and service is excellent.

11/01/2026: Best full breakfast in Cork by far. Had the Irish stew the night before and it was the best I've ever had. The fish and chips is great too.
