Normally when shopping in mahon point I come over here for proper grub... highly recommend

We attended a christening, which was in a marked off section, there was good food, good fellowship and a good night

Ok...just saw that very bad posting up there... thinking about it. Well, I'm guest in the Black Rock Inn for 8 years. I love the fresh baked scones. Love the traditional fresh food, ham and cabbage, love the sandwiches, wich were great all the time I was there....love the homemade burgers, love Paul the cook, nice man and great cook with a busy, tidy staff. Friendly, welcoming service at the counter. Summer times give You a nice area outside. Familieswith CHILDREN are welcome. The public are mainly local golfplayers, ladies,gents, local funny after-work drinkers a priest and other pub owners and me, coming from oversea 8 times per year. Atmosphere is welcoming. Good bands are playing at the weekends, mixed music from folk to 60ies, pop and rock of many we all know. 6th December 23 and 24 is a big charity for children hospiz, sometimes for Epilepsy Island and others. The place is usable for wheelchairs and the people in there get always a helping hand, an extra comfortable place to watch and warm hearted service. Parking places are in front and behind the house. A separate parking area is 100m further. The Black Rock Inn has a very nice golf course. The Black Rock Inn is not a noble, expensive place for snobs. It is a representative restaurant and pub - even possible to celebrate any event You might looking out for. Thanks for being welcome all over the years in Your house! With Love, Carola.

Good venue perfect for a party. I attended a 40th party there at the weekend and I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend.

Great place for a Sunday dinner but go there starving cause you could feed 2 with the size of the food omg 😍😍 well worth it
