Easily one of the best pubs in the area. The interior doesn’t try to impress with extravagance; instead, it’s honest, warm, and lived-in. What truly sets the place apart is the crowd: people who carry a kind of quiet sincerity that makes a simple evening feel like time well spent.

Ordered the roast of the day (lamb) which came with mashed potatoes, vegetables and gravy. The portions were generous and the lamb was cooked really well — tender and tasty. They were also happy to customise the food, so I had a toasted chicken sandwich with mozzarella, sun-dried tomato and pesto, served with salad and fries. The sandwich was great, salad was a good portion, though the fries could have been a bit more crispy and thinner. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and the place itself was calm and not crowded. There’s a separate section for dining apart from the bar, which makes it nice and relaxed. Overall, happy with the visit and would definitely go back.

We had an Irish stew and a pint of stout. The stew was absolutely amazing!

What an amazing time it was on a Thursday night. There was a three piece Irish band. Never seen anything like it.

We had the best vegie burger, chicken burger & fries washed down with a Guinness in a warm, friendly place.
