Visited as a tourist party of 2. Greeted quickly and seated. Very friendly staff throughout. The food was delicious including the dessert. Very quick service. Drinks were good too. Reasonably priced and very Irish! Would definitely recommend.

A traditional pub with a pleasant atmosphere, super friendly staff, and excellent food! The starter, main course, and dessert were all excellent. Highly recommended. There's plenty of parking above the street, and the pub is a one-minute walk away.

Went to the blind piper for food and a couple of Guinness and irish coffee. The food outstanding I had the seabass😍Guinness yummy and irish coffee even better. Coming from a couple up the country who love their food and Guinness ❤️

Really delicious beef and Guinness stew with mashed potato and very good seafood chowder. We went there twice during our short stay. Booking ahead recommended. Staff really nice and restaurant atmosphere nice too.

The Riverside Bistro

24/08/2025: Recommended by the owner of our B&B for its delicious, well-sourced oysters. We ate well, and the staff was super friendly. The oysters and mussels were delicious.
21/08/2025: This restaurant is a gem! Our food was delicious and the atmosphere quaint. We had the seafood trio, pizza, lamb, and ribs and everyone loved their food. We wish we were staying longer so we could eat here again.
