Went this morning and got served by a guy who just came back to work after being away for a few months. Coffee shop was empty we were the only clients. I asked if he could make my flat white in the purple mug and he replied “you either take the mug I put it in or you don’t get your coffee at all”. Sassy! 😵💫 Thought we were in the land of rainbows and leprechauns. His latte art was fire but he could work on his customer service because I wouldn’t go back.

Even though the location of the coffee shop might scare you away at first, it's definitely worth a visit. The barista was super friendly and the prices for coffee were reasonable. The coffee was great, the matcha was fine and the pastry we had was very nice.

All the people saying coffee sizes are “odd” in Boru don’t really know much about coffee and I’ll say that confidently. The buckets off coffee ye find in Starbucks and Costa have nothing to do with coffee lads. That being said, Boru’s vibe, coffee making, technique and community in general is amazing, if you like coffee and people that care about how you like your coffee, I would definitely recommend Boru.
The girls working there are beautiful inside and out, probably one of the reasons why the vibe there is so nice all the time. The same goes for the owner. Wherever I am in town I’ll find a way and time to get to Boru cause it’s just worth it😊

Without a doubt, the best coffee I've had in Cork! Every cup is made to perfection, and you can really taste the quality. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot whether you want to relax inside or enjoy your coffee outside. The food selection is just as impressive, fresh, delicious, and with plenty of great options to choose from. This place has everything: amazing coffee, fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service. If you're in Cork, Boru Coffee is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Had caffe latte, carrot cake, salted Carmel brownie and a croissant. I shared the treats and they were all equally good. Croissant was light n flaky but could have benefited with a bit of jam. Definitely recommend

Staff were lovely, Barista was really nice. The sizes are a bit off though, I got a regular and it felt more like a small for €5. The coffee wasn’t as good as other places I’ve been to like Cork Coffee Roasters, but I did like the location. Sitting outside and people watching was really nice.
