Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. We were there as part of an event with a set menu and can't really say about ” regular menu" but what we had was lovely. Would happily visit again when we're in Athlone.

The Castle Inn

05/05/2026: Another of a dying breed....a proper pub. Good staff, good pints and good atmosphere. We'd a good few on us when we arrived but once the barman realised we were ok no problem. Would've stayed longer but we were tired!
