Bovine in Portlaoise

Nicely decorated restaurants stone walls and ceiling beams,wasn't impressed by the service ! We were waiting 20mins to be even asked for our orders thats criminal !! ,no offer of jug of water or titbits to nibble on as you wait.The food itself was ok the burger is super thin you get 2 on your bun to try make it look decent,the fries were average, also what put me off returning here is the noise of the music blaring I feel like you're competing with the racket playing while trying to have a conversation.

Me and my partner decided to go treat our selves so we had searched some places and found Bovine , The atmosphere is so cosy and chill to have a nice relaxing bite to eat . The food the service and the atmosphere is unbeatable our new favorite place to eat by far . Bovine needs more recognition as we never knew such a gem was hiding on the Main Street of portlaoise ! To whom ever owns this place the staff and the place is a credit to you ! I also want to say there was a guy called Conor working the shift such a nice , pleasant jolly guy . Who had recommended some things to us to get for our next visit ! Thanks Conor for the wonderful first time experience. 😁

Just burgers, but fabulous succulent burgers! Chips aren't bad either!
