Brick Lane in Cork

Outstanding food but the service was a let down. We ordered 2 pints of murphys and an IPa, a pizza with chips and the blue cheese burger. When we went to pay there was an extra pint and a €22 cocktail on put bill that we didn't order. We didn't dispute the extra murphys but we counted the extra pint as the tip. The service was ok but tbf the food was excellent.

We booked a table Sunday June 30th at 6.30pm we thought it would be hectic because they were showing the soccer but it wasn't too busy. We ordered our food and around 40 minutes had passed without any food or any staff member approaching us. Finally we caught someone's eye and asked for an update on our food. He came back 10 minutes later and told us our ticket must of been lost and had to take our our again. When our food did come out it was only average, the chicken wing were over cooked, the ribs were mainly fat and the bluecheese burger had no blue cheese. My partner also ordered a pint almost 3 times before it was brought to our table. I will say on a plus note the cocktails were lovely and great value at 2 for €16. Would come back for drinks but not food. We received an apology when we were first told our ticket was missing but no staff member approached us when we received or food to check on us. Overall not the best experience

Atmosphere really nice and staff were lovely. Food came out super quick too, despite being busy. Got the platter for 2 (€40). The wings and chips were delicious. The mini burgers and sausages were nice too. Personally didn’t like the steak as I prefer it more well done but that’s personal preference. Unfortunately the stuffed spuds were stone cold which was disappointing. Cocktails 5/5, got a tropical dacquiri which was delicious 01/06/2024- went for bottomless brunch. Thought it was the list of drinks on the menu- mimosas, Bellini, Bloody Mary but it was only Prosecco which was disappointing…. The French toast was nice and pancakes nice but super filling

Food is not as nice as it was a couple months ago. Also, 4 euro for a tiny coffee, please go back to the old normal coffee cups

Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat on the night, we had a party there and there was a great buzz

Food was delicious, staff were excellent and very friendly. Me and my friend had that carnivore platter and it was excellent

We were waiting a really long time on the cocktails, although the place was nearly empty. They were lovely, though, every single one. The atmosphere was great and cosy. Toilets were ckean, but all the toilet seats were falling apart. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience

Just had 1 drink....bar is stunning wld have luved to have stayed

The bottomless brunch was amazing!!! The staff are super nice, and the food was great. Definitely give it a try
