I love it here but NO DISCOUNT with your own cup.
Most cafés in Galway give a discount for years now. The university of Galway does not allow disposable cups any more! Bridie Murphy's needs to move on and incentive less waste too!!
If they did this, I'd give a 5 out of 5 review. Great staff, porridge scones, and coffee.

Great outdoor seating and lots of options for coffee and cakes. Somehow there aren't any vegetarian options for sandwiches, which seems strange nowadays, but there was vegetable soup! Service was a little confused and lacking in communication between the staff.

The porridge is really delicious and also juicy. Fair price and really good. The coffee, however, is just okay. A large barista machine does not make very good coffee. Nevertheless, the prices for the coffee are good.
If you really only like coffee and no pastries, you will find better shops.

Grabbed breakfast and coffee to have in our walk, and this place was great! Then ham and cheese croissants were delicious and the latte’s were so well made. Such friendly staff too, definitely check out this little place if you need a great start to the day!
