Had a beautiful dinner here, didn't have a booking but they found a spot. Loved by locals also as kind words were exchanged between a customer and server. Food was excellent and parking outside the door. Will return!!

Auld Triangle

25/11/2025: The Auld Triangle in Macroom is a warm, traditional pub-restaurant known for friendly service, good value, and hearty Irish food. It’s a cosy, easygoing spot with plenty of space and a relaxed local atmosphere. Perfect for a casual meal or pint, especially if you’re passing through on the N22. Nothing fancy just solid, straightforward, and welcoming couldn’t fault anything we got here food, drinks and service was all top class, if passing true again will definitely stop off
20/10/2025: Amazing place we continuously go here and we’ve never been disappointed. Food is always top notch and delicious not even to mention the desserts. Staff are very friendly and easy to work with. Please don’t shut down I love this place

Granvilles

21/09/2023: Best fish and chips in the county
15/09/2023: My husband and I had a lovely meal at Granvilles recently. It was early evening and we weren’t sure if we could get a table but we were welcomed and seated at a comfortable table for two. The waitress brought menus swiftly (we were hungry having missed lunch). I asked for two starters and no main which was accepted as though it was the norm, my husband ordered fish and chips with mushy peas. Everything arrived together just as we had asked. My tomato soup was the best I had had in years with a hunk of scrumptious wheaten bread and butter at the perfect temperature to spread. My lamb koftas with couscous were authentic and perfectly seasoned. The crown however, goes to the chips and mushy peas. Those didn’t come from a tin or packet, the peas were probably resting in their pods until jusy before they came to our table. A restaurant that pays attention to the smallest details is to be visited again. And again. 🙏
