We came in for an unplanned drink on our wedding day when getting photos taken down shop street on 28.12.24.. The lady behind the bar couldn’t have been kinder to us if she tried. So welcoming and gave us a round on the house, so unexpected! We stayed for a few more til we moved on to the wedding reception. We even met an Irish celeb there too. 😉Cosy and inviting bar. Would recommend.

Great spot for a pint in Galway. A lot of people walk past without ever realising what a great small pub is hiding among all the big players around Quay St.

The lady that served us was excellent, had a constant smile on her face and nothing was a bother to her. The service was good and we enjoyed the food. It is well worth a visit.

12/01/2025: I came here for lunch one Sunday afternoon. Food was flavourful and rich with generous portions probably a little too generous. Service I thought was a little slow and relaxed and not as helpful as in other dining venues Ive frequented. This level of mediocre service I noticed happened when it wasnt a particularly busy day. Also I was bemused that the option to split the bill was not possible when it is available in most other restaurants. Price of food I thought was a little high for example burger at €18 and fries options averaging €10. Overall good food, nice enough atmosphere but service could be improved.

09/01/2025: We only had half an hour of free time, but we managed to eat local soup and appreciate the warm, cozy and pleasant Irish atmosphere! The establishment is cool! Thank you very much Ireland!
