I downgraded the stars due to the very long wait for food. The place, however, is nice, and the food is good. Of course, we're talking about the usual pub fare: fish and chips, burgers, etc.

Very nice ambiance, good beer/cider, very friendly staff, and the food is really good too. We spent two evenings there, and both times we were drawn to the pub. We were very well looked after both times 😊

Very helpful service, but they were busy and we had to wait for a longer than usual time. Food was under seasoned, but salt and pepper were provided. My husband really liked his egg omelette with everything in it. Tea and coffee were great as well. We sat outside, which made it for a bit noisy stay. Some people were smoking near by, with the smoke coming our way, but I see this is a norm in Ireland. Those people (I overheard) also liked the beer a lot. Overall I'd recommend it.

Just ate at Bunkers and it was delicious. We had the baked hake and beef burger. Great portion sizes, delicious flavours and reasonably priced. Our Wait staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Thank you @bunkersbar. 👌

Alannah was our waiter. Lovely bar and the food was incredible. I am a coeliac, and she was really helpful. The steak was one of the nicest I've had in a very long time, and the pepper sauce was gluten-free. My husband had the burger and onion rings. He loved it.

We stumbled upon Bunkers Bar and Restaurant by chance, and it was outstanding! The service was super friendly and humorous. We were served promptly and felt very comfortable. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We treated ourselves to a cheesecake at the end, so to speak, and entered dessert heaven!
Thank you for the culinary highlight!

The food is not bad, but not good either. Chicken with vegetables is more suitable for a hospital. The food is not tasty and a lot of salt doesn't help either. It is really expensive. It is a good place for beer but not for food. The place is very noisy.
