Busker Brownes in Galway

The food here was great! The fish tasted very fresh, and our waitress, Alison M. was incredible. At the end of dinner, when we asked for other local recommendations, she took the time to write down a well thought out list of near by breakfast/dinner options for the remainder of our vacation. She was a great host and I will definitely plan to come back next time we are in Galway.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had my partner’s surprise 40th birthday here over the weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect for our group of around 50 people — just the right size and such a lovely atmosphere. I was dealing with Niamh in the lead-up, and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made the whole planning process so easy. The food on the night was fabulous — the platters were huge and everyone was raving about how good everything was! They even let us bring in our own trad music, which made the night really special. The whole team were so friendly and accommodating from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough for any celebration — we’ll definitely be back!!

It depends on the day but the free entry and the age limit of 18 (a rare thing in Ireland) make it one of the best.

stopped for lunch while stopping in Galway (a must see town) the options for pubs, restaurants, take-aways are many. We chose Busker Brownes because the look & the menu - we were NOT disappointed - SPA007

The outside doesn't do justice to the space inside. I had the beef stew and it was excellent. They have a good selection of beers, including local ones, but I opted for Guinness. The service was friendly and fairly fast. It's a shame I didn't get to hear some live music; I arrived too late.

Large place to hang out and enjoy a drink. But the music was...not the greatest.

The food was reasonably good for the price. A couple vegan options are available. The restaurant is located in the busy Latin Quarter so it is conveniently located. The bathroom was pretty ripe.

Excelente comida y servicio, tenía un cupón para bebida que se honraba aunque generalmente por la noche pero que no estaba claro en el cupón. Todos los pescados con papas fritas eran sin gluten y sabrosos. No pensé que iba a encontrar gluten - pescado y patatas fritas gratis como varios lugares y no disponible, así que eso fue una buena sorpresa.

Gerente, el personal absolutamente tan agradable educado y tan eficiente. Comida irreal mmmm. La elección del menú fue fantástico, todo el mundo realmente disfruta de su comida.
