Busker Brownes in Galway

I have worked with the staff in Busker Brownes several times over the last 2 years to host gatherings after the issue launches of our Galway-based poetry magazine, Skylight 47. Each time they have been very accommodating, providing advice on the most suitable venue space and timeslot to book for our group of approx 30 people. Food platters arrived out promptly (important for a group in the early evening), and the staff behind the bar on the nights have always been attentive. Would highly recommend for events and groups.

Recently celebrated our work Christmas party at Kirby’s, we were a large group of 25. We had a beautiful three course menu, with a large variety of choice catering for all dietary requirements. Communication from the venue before the night was great, also organising a reserved area for drinks in buskers after the meal to continue the celebrations! We will definitely be back.

We went with our little dog for Sunday early lunch. The staff were great and super welcoming. They let us in with our pup and there was a live band playing music too. Great food, great music and great staff!

Lovely place with very delicious and well presented food and excellent service! Definitely will visit again when I'm in Galway!

El mejor pub en Galway en mi opinión. Visité este lugar como 1000 veces por diferentes razones y con diferentes personas. Muy recomendable

Going to Busker Brownes is now a tradition every year when I go to the Christmas markets..and it's always the cheese board I go for and we get a few starters and have it all together to graze over a bottle of wine .. lovely areas to sit where no-one is sitting too close and the staff are great and really attentive without being too much so..

Service was good. Atmosphere is a 10/10. Food was great. I would recommend the seafood chowder and the sandwiches looked fab

Our hotel is right next to this place and we heard some music so we popped down. Holy COOL! Multiple rooms with bars, different vibes along the way, you picked what suited you best. And I got my favorite cider :)

Esta es una crítica complicada, ya que la comida era increíble y nos advirtieron que tendríamos una espera, ya que la cocina estaba muy ocupada, pero el personal de camareros decepcionó el lado. Nos dijeron que sería una camarera para una mesa y la cocina estaba cerrada, pero como el menú tenía 2 grandes opciones para nosotros estábamos encantados de esperar. También había un gran cantante en la máquina de discos John, así que estábamos felices de escuchar. Pedimos el plato a base de plantas para compartir como entrada y este estaba delicioso y bien presentado, sin embargo, se sirvió antes de que nos dieran cubiertos. Otra camarera trajo cubiertos con sal / pimienta, pero no inmediatamente, así que nuestra comida estaba sentada esperando en frente de nosotros. Esto se aclaró sin demasiada espera, y se trajeron cubiertos frescos, pero se quitó la sal / pimienta. Luego llegaron los platos principales: pescado con papas fritas y curry vegano. Ambos eran muy agradables, pero mi marido fue incapaz de encontrar personal de espera para conseguir sal y pimienta para el pescado y patatas fritas. Los platos vacíos también se dejaron frente a nosotros durante bastante tiempo. Cocina 5 / 5 , frente a la casa 3 / 5 También es bueno saber que el estofado se hace fresco como el se había quedado sin esto en el momento en que pedimos, sin embargo, habría sido bueno haber sido dicho que se estaba quedando corto cuando llegamos, ya que esta era la elección de mi marido de 1 calle y una vez nos dijeron que no queríamos cazar otro restaurante vegano con estofado en el menú.
