Freddie the Host was amazing, The starters are all class. Rib Eye Steak was as soft as Butter šŸ§ˆ Food was off the Charts so Good. Would love to see a French Peppercorn Sauce on the Menu. Will be back very very soon. John.

On the pricey side, but consistently good food. Have only experienced terrible service here once (when we were rushed to finish up mid-meal, after being ignored for the first half of the meal)... Also can be a bit erratic with their opening hours, stopping brunch early because it was ā€œquietā€... have eaten here multiple times all the same and overall in the upper tier of good Dublin steakhouses, despite the unfortunately sometimes arrogant serviceā€¦

The quality of the meat was exceptional. My steak was cooked exactly to order, perfect seasoned snd incredibly delicious. Staff were friendly and genuinely knowledgable about menu and cuts of meat. They offered great recommendations. Prices were very fair for the quality. Would happily recommend it to anyone looking to eat great steak.

The food here was fantastic! Everything we got was perfect, obviously its a bit expensive but the quality of food and service is really good! You definitely need to book in advance but its worth the wait.

I love this place. The chefs and the service is just incredible. Itā€™s rare I see a negative review and when I do Iā€™m shocked at what people complain about. Some people you just canā€™t please but do yourself a favour and dine here. You will not be disappointed and if you are maybe youā€™re one of those types šŸ˜‚

30/12/2025: Iā€™d come across Mad Egg multiple times but never got around to visiting it, until a weekday lunch finally changed that, and Iā€™m glad it did. The experience was brilliant from start to finish. The menu is concise and well thought out, which makes choosing easy without feeling limited. Great deals,everything we ordered, from the burgers to the tenders, was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly the star of the show. Service was smooth and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place added to the experience. Top-notch food, great execution, and thoroughly delicious. Highly recommended.
