Top class as always, we skipped starters although I did notice the mini taco’s which are delightful were not in the menu ? The steaks were fantastic , 3 of us had 3 different steaks and the were all excellent . You pay for quality and the food , service and asmosohere are all top class. Sides are huge and need refining or a suggestion of sharing. Our waiters were element and whilst I always feel we over change for wine in Ireland they have a distant range of very drinkable wines in the low €30’s range. If you are a first timer you will go back, we travel regularly from Carlow, it is worth the excursion. Whilst the probably do have a vegan or vegetarian choice my suggestion is this is not for you, every other restaurant is for you . Probably the best steakhouse in the south-east it not Ireland but very hard to get a booking . Don’t change anything and with the reduction is Vat coming it will be 4.5% cheaper going forward .
The Butcher is a must for meat lovers! It’s an American-style restaurant that offers incredibly tender and juicy meats. I have never tasted such tender and flavorful meat before. The warm atmosphere and impeccable service further add to the pleasure. An experience not to be missed for carnivores!

My wife and I lucked out and got a table on. Saturday night without a reservation. The place was packed and seems very popular.
They have a varied menu with an emphasis on steak. I had a chicken dish, roasted vegetables and a beet salad. It was excellent. My wife liked her steak and vegetable side dish a lot as well.
Service was excellent.
It’s easy to see why this is so popular as we had a great dinner.
26/01/2025: Ordered via uber eats after 1 hour still no food. Called spoke to Moira who explained the difficulty they had with drivers that night .
Moira dealt with the situation very professionally . Moira is a great asset to this company without her professional approach we would have been very unhappy . She turned a not so good experience into a good one . Food was v tasty fresh and hot .
11/01/2025: Moira behind the till was running the show, absolute icon had the food out so quickly and made sure the suspicious characters near us didn’t bother us
