Café Lounge in Carrick-on-shannon

23/04/2025: Stopped in here for a few drinks with family whilst in the area. The barmaid was very friendly and attentive. The pub has a great outdoor area with plenty of seating and another bar at the back of the area. Definitely worth a visit if with a group of friends.

23/03/2025: Great craic. Shane Downey was playing when we were there on a busy Saturday night. An exceptional musician, genuinely thought it was a record before we saw him because his vocal was so perfect. His playlist was great. Really lively favourites verging more to the country/pop side of things. DJ on after him was great, so many great tunes you couldn't not dance to. Lots of 90s 00s with a bitta ABBA thrown in. Brilliant atmosphere full of hens and stags but it wasn't messy. Wine selection was poor. Two of the bars did smell like wee. Toilets got pretty messy. Fancy hand dryers didn't work. Music too loud in the indoor part - beer garden was great. If those things wouldn't bother you too much you'll have a great night! genuinely.
