Lovely place to eat and get coffee, I stop twice a week for my matcha and the girls always remember me and my order. Very chatty, welcoming and helpful 🥰

I really like Cafe Solo. I'd highly recommend them if your passing through Shannon. Nice fresh contemporary atmosphere, service with a smile, no delays, great food and plenty of it + loads of free parking.

Was able to get a true Irish breakfast here. The place had a good menu and fast polite staff. Was just an average breakfast. Beans and toast for breakfast is different for sure. Did not impress and was not necessarily bad.

The food is fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented — perfect after a morning exploring the countryside. Their brown bread is top-notch, and the coffee is just what you need to warm up on a misty Irish day. The staff are kind, welcoming, and full of local charm, happy to chat or offer a recommendation. Whether you’re a visitor passing through or a local regular, Heather Café is a must-visit for great food and even better atmosphere.
12/02/2025: I enjoy coming here before or after hikes especially if the weather is great. Lovely treats and they love dogs, my pooch always gets fresh water and pets when we come! Looking forward to visiting soon!

Ardcarne Garden Cafe

12/05/2025: At this stage I should have shares in the place. Great for all gardening advice. Beautifully laid out. I especially love the cafe. Homemade breads and cakes and coffee for the afficionados ! Fantastic courtyard to smoke in and commune with our feathered friends who will join you for a tiny crumb from your table. You'll find some quirky presents for your loved ones too. You'll feel so healthy having supped your coffee and eaten your cake followed by a constitutional walk around the gardens.
