Caffe 500 in Carlow

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The portions were generous.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch of mixed Bruschetta, garlic mushrooms (to die for!) and Caesar salad between 2 of us. Great food highly recommend !

Top experience. From the staff to the food. After a week of fish and chips, we finally had Italian food. Spaghetti carbonara was better than many in Italy. Ask for the Italian version because they'll ask if it's the Irish cream version or the Italian version. I had the Italian version and it was spectacular. My husband had the pizza with spicy salami, it was so good it was devastating. And the tiramisu was tops. Delicious. Our son also had the pasta with tomato sauce and finished it all. The service was fast and super friendly. Italians, go there, you won't regret it.

Excellent food all round! Love the vibe and the decor of the cafe. Fresh cut chips is always a big winner for me too!

Pizza and pasta dishes were so fresh and tasted amazing. Staff were so good with our little kid too!

This restaurant has the BEST gluten free dishes!! I absolutely love Italian and have not had anything in the 15 years I have been gluten free as delicious as this food. Basically anything on the menu can be made GF!! If you are GF, you NEED to stop in ❤️
