Caffe 500 in Carlow

Café 500 is a great Italian little mini café the pizza that I had gotten a ham and peperoni pizza the food was good nice and warm but the service was a tiny bit slow but overall I've given it 4 stars

We come here all the time. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious and very well priced.

The food, the people , the atmosphere. It's like you have been transported to italy. It's fabulous and will really look forward to returning !

I've dined here 6 or 7 times now and each time had a different dish. Each time the food has been top class, served in a timely manner and always friendly helpful staff. I've gone in large friend groups, small group, with the kids and each time they have served food as requested. My 10yo daughter loves it here, shes made feel very special when she's a fussy eater. The staff accomodate her request as you would expect yourself and no fuss.

We booked a table for 25 people only 1 hour in advance, there was no problem at all, they sorted us immediately. We ordered, many and very different dishes, the food came out in less than 15 minutes all at the same time for all 25 of us and I was literally stunned. The food is more than delicious, big portions and at a very reasonable price. The service was impeccable, our waiter was informal yet very professional, and we all had great laughs with him. The location and atmosphere is great, comfortable and cozy. After 4 years living in Ireland I can say that Caffè 500 is the best restaurant I have been to in the country. It's a must try for everyone in Carlow and surroundings (especially Italians). As an Italian (of course) I had an espresso after lunch and it was incredible, just like in Italy, hands down the best coffee in the country. I had to get a second one on the way out. Bravissimi ragazzi, complimenti veramente. Continuate così!!!

Nuestra tercera vez aquí y siempre es bueno. La bienvenida fue cálida y la mesa encantadora. Tuvimos 2 entrantes y 2 platos principales de pasta. La comida era deliciosa y las porciones generosas (se llevó una bolsa de perro a casa). ¡No hay lugar para el desierto! El precio era excelente. Volveremos.
