Captain Americas in Dublin

We tried CA's for the first time and sadly the food was a really down. The atmosphere is great with a good vibe and a great place to hang out with friends and family. Lots of other families dinning out when we were there. Ordering burgers all round was the choice of our party. Sadly, the burgers were pretty small, the meat patty was dry and very mediocre to be honest. I don't think the food actually matches the venue. I ordered a mushroom burger, maybe I'm from a different era, but that usually meant it's inside the burger and not in a sauce boat. It did help dipping the dry burger into the sauce. Overall a really "MEH" experience on the food. You would get a better tasting burger at home than one cooked Here. Staff were great, friendly and accomodating to your needs. I honestly will not be back here, so many better options even if the folks that we spoke to said it's a good experience. Mediocre at best, the food here lets that whole place down.

Lovely food. And they guys are really great to be fair. But the place looks tired and unkempt. The entrance is cold, dirty, and unwelcoming. The toilets are truly terrible. All the glass and brasses are grubby; haven't seen a cloth in a long time by the looks of it. Despite the fact that there are bottles of cleaning products visible everywhere: stiiting on the bar, hanging from the brasses. I really dont want to see these while im eating my dinner. And when will management in the hospitality sector in Ireland learn the difference between cool and warm white lighting? 2700K or lower: that's the magic number. When bulbs go, don't lash in the first replacement that fits. It needs to match the mood of the rest of the room. And cool white light is NOT welcoming and NOT pleasant to sit in. Fine for quick-service, train station toilets or performing surgery. Not for enjoying a sit-down meal in a restaurant. If you want your customers to stay longer and spend more, you have to make them not want to leave. Area around the Harley just inside the door is poorly lit also. Should be spot lighting on each table to create discrete sections, instead of the dull ambient lighting that makes you feel like you've been shoved in a corner and you're eating with the people at table next to you. Love this place in general, especially for bringing the kids. And the staff are lovely, attentive, and efficient. But more attention to detail would turn a passable experience into a great one.

Great atmosphere, Nice food, friendly and efficient service.

Little expensive restaurant but nice experience. The server was very friendly and gave good detail of what will be in which dish. Food was average but service was remarkable. I am vegetarian and for me at this price GBK burger is better option. This restaurant has some food options from elephant and castle and wow burgers also. Good place to have a meal and relax when in dublin 15.

Food is extremely expensive for what it is . Atmosphere is excellent and great selection of beers
