Second visit to a restaurant often disappoints, but not this time. Confident cooking, generous portions, well chosen wines. Undoubtedly the best monkfish dish I've ever eaten. Efficient but relaxed service. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely return for a seafood treat next time I'm in this part of Dublin.

A very nice experience, quality service and very attentive. The food was well above and beyond expectations, the fish was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor and a lot of work. Beautiful presentation and very generous portions. The setting is just as enjoyable. Bravo!!!!!

Great food and a brilliantly buzzy restaurant downstairs. Upstairs has a nice view but we were surprised to be allocated a table between the only other tables in a mostly empty room. The manger was kind enough to find us a table downstairs where all the atmosphere is. Food is exceptionally good.

We booked lunch for today 28/5/25.On arrival we were greeted at front of house by a lovely blonde haired lady with a very welcoming smile.We were promptly seated and handed the menus.We chose Seafood Linguini and Wild Hake for our meal.The food was absolutely gorgeous.A fine young gentleman served our food and we were checked on by other staff during our lunch.Top marks for the delicious food and excellent service from the ultra friendly staff.Looking forward to a return visit already.

We had a wonderful experience at Cavistons. The decor is absolutely beautifulâŠsophisticated with a gorgeous colour palette. The service was impeccable and the food was beautifully presented and creative. What a treat! We will certainly be back soon.
