Lovely, cosy place for coffee, breakfast, lunch and cakes. The boxty is amazing, I can't wait to go back for more. Warm and friendly service from Ashling makes you feel right at home and well looked after. Edit: I've since been back and I can't believe that it was even better again! This place really is Westport's best kept secret.

We stopped for lunch at Christy’s on our way through to Clifden and were pleasantly surprised with the service provided by Aisling and the delicious food. Even though it was the busiest time of the day Aisling was more than happy to explain items from the menu. Hugh the owner came and sat with us, map in hand, and showed us the most beautiful and scenic way to drive onwards to Clifden. Don’t miss this little gem in Westport if your travelling through. .

Had an absolutely delicious, lovely, thoroughly enjoyable lunch at Christy’s. The food was so delicious, the team at Christy’s made us feel like old friends and the vibe in the place was so charming. Thank you so much and can’t wait to be back soon!

The homemade fruit scones are a must have, along with the Americano was an absolute gem of a meal, along with the owner Hugh who was looked after us the whole time I was in his cafe. Make sure that you don’t leave Westport without going here.

10/05/2025: We booked the west for communion celebration dinner and very happy we did. Everything from the set menu, service and value were second to none. We were a large group of 23 adults and 8 kids. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Food was served seamlessly by great staff. The function room upstairs is a great space. We were allowed to decorate the evening before and nothing was too much trouble for Martin and his staff. The West surpassed itself today. If you have any celebration coming up I highly recommend the west you will not be disappointed

17/05/2025: You will feel at home, but with an awesome kitchen. The hosts are kind, friendly and love to give you all the information you want. Besides the lovely food, they have a banger of a wine list! Please try the Slovenian wine.
