Clancy's Cork in Cork

Lovely food - we ordered the burger and the chicken goujons, and had a dessert as well. The food tasted great and the chips were delicious. Staff were amazing - very smiley, friendly and attentive - top tier customer service, couldn't have asked for better. I would definitely recommend!

Clancy’s is in the heart of Cork city and upon entering we were immediately welcomed warmly and offered our choice of seating as it was quiet at that point. The servers were attentive, friendly and had a joke with us and some fellow diners also had a joke about the window between our booths, but it was a place set up to have a nice relaxed atmosphere. The fish and chips were excellent, fish flaky and cooked to perfection and the chips accompanying it perfectly. They also told us about a battle of the bands that was going on a little later and although we didn’t stick around it looked fun.

Watch a hurling match there, one of the best experiences I have ever had, as a foreigner. Friendly staff and good corkinian environment.

While passing through Cork, we chose Clancy's Cork by chance for dinner. It's all worth entering. The place dates back to 1824 and is one of the oldest pubs in Cork. Recently restored in 2019, Clancy's Cork offers a decor depicting the glories of Irish sportsmen. The staff is very welcoming and attentive and the bistro-style dishes are very good and at very affordable prices. In photo: our two desserts (cheesecake and apple pie).

We had a great family time with good food and adorable waiter and waitress (smiling, caring and great with kids).

Went the the Big brunch Saturday, myself and my Mam. It was fantastic. The lady organising it (forget her name) was so full of life and really tried to make the day as fun as possible..her team, Sarah, Ben and Linda I think we're amazing. So friendly and a dream to deal with. Highly recommend this brunch and the singer Caroline was unreal too

I recently went and spent some time in Clancy’s and truly enjoyed my time there. I was a bit reluctant at first as I don’t drink alcohol but missed the pub atmosphere. I ordered a tea and the girls behind the bar made me feel right at home, in particular Imogen & Rachel. They would come up and chat and make sure everything was ok and really created a wonderful and friendly atmosphere. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but most definitely will next time. I will definitely be recommending this place to my guests.
