Lovely hotel good facilities staff very friendly nothing to much trouble

Had a lovely experience in the bar. Our server, Lyanu, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. The bar service was equally commendable. The food was also outstanding, and I must extend my compliments to the chef for the wonderful meal.

Nice food, very convenient hotel. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna. However, little attention is given to cleaning the hallway. Guests put leftover takeaway food on corridors and were not collected for several hours. In the first place, guests should not leave leftover food on the corridors, but the hotel should clean them swiftly. The restaurant in the bar was great. We enjoyed their food. Again, the waiters were disorganised, and we were served by almost all the waiters for every order we make. Overall, we liked the hotel because it is child friendly.

Pretty good - choose your time in pool - often kids swimming lessons in the evening. Service sometimes a bit slow in bar - but staff all friendly and helpful

Super nice room. It was large and spotless. Corner room with a nice view. Staff was pleasant and there was a good choice for breakfast.

Perfect five days here. Very helpful, friendly staff, especially in the Roastery. Well equipped room - quiet and comfy. Easy access to city due to regular bus service nearby. Preferred to stay out of town, avoiding hustle of the city.

The only negative..the breakfast!!! Buffet style which is fine however even tea and coffee was self service..we had three small kids so my poor husband was up and down like a yoyo getting everyone's breakfast..I just saw loads of people carrying round cups of coffee pots of tea with kids running in between them surely there is a health and safety issue there.. I just really think tea and coffee should be served at the table

My daughter had her wedding reception in the Claton Hotel, Galway a few years ago and everything was top class. Everyone had a fantastic experience. Friendly helpful staff and beautiful food. I highly recommend it. Traffic can be a bit of a problem at certain times due to schools and factories in the area. It's an excellent location for anybody attending the Galway races or for a meeting.

Amazing. The room was spacious, the kids were welcomed with chocolate and candy which they were so excited about. The bar is beautiful. They also had laundry service that was so convenient ! I really love this hotel. Will definitely look into Clayton’s Hotels everywhere we go.
