I often come here to do some bit of study and enjoy a coffee 3-4 times a week. Joe and the rest of the staff are consistently friendly, attentive, helpful and professional. The welcoming atmosphere and reliable service make this a place I am always happy to return to.

I had a very good experience while staying in the Clayton hotel Galway. Sometimes large hotel chains can lack atmosphere and provide a cold user experience for guests. But thanks to some excellent staff members at this hotel my visit was elevated to a much higher level than expected. I had the pleasure of checking out this morning in reception with Aoife. The process was efficient and professional. But even more importantly, Aoife has a warm and friendly manner. People often say that first impressions are key. There is truth to that, but I would say the customer’s last point of contact with staff is equally important. Aoife’s friendly and genuinely caring nature left a very positive impression on me and set me up for a good morning. I look forward to staying at this hotel again thanks to the staff. And I know that Aoife in reception has something money can’t buy, that is a natural smile and friendliness most larger hotel groups struggle to provide. Thank you Aoife.

The room provided was nice, but it was freezing cold and the heating system did not heat it up in a timely manner. We spent the first night of our stay wrapped up in bed. We had to move rooms the following morning. Even the lobby was cold, staff at the check in desk had a little heater for themselves which is ridiculous.
The beds were very comfortable.
No Netflix/Internet connection on televisions. No chromecast option. Disappointing for a family room with kids.
Rainfall shower head was too low for me. I'm 6' 2". Water kept going from hot to luke warm.
Breakfast options were basic but ok for a coeliac. Bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms. Cornflakes, yoghurt, fruit.
Servers in the restaurant were iffy and not confident that a gluten free meal could be provided, and this put me off. They should not have to refer to the chef and come back with half a story. They should know straight away what meals can be provided gluten free and safe for coeliac. There can't be a grey area. e.g. "I think we can" "We probably can just remove this from the dish"... That's immediately off putting for a coeliac.
Staff were all friendly. Parking was good.

Enjoyed the ambiance and the food.
Caden & Abbi both showed wonderful customer service. They didn’t have wipes after I had wings and Abbi made sure to find an alternative which I really appreciated. Caden served the food and was super polite. They made the experience enjoyable.
