Perched on a cliff with great views from the bar area, worth a stop

This place was such a treat on our 10-day trip. We wanted something quiet and relaxing mid-way through, and this place delivers! We enjoyed the most relaxing facial and massage, and topped it off with a hot bath overlooking the ocean. The service was phenomenal, as well as the food. Next time, I would love to come in the summer to enjoy the waterfront swimming hole and the local beach! Ardmore is VERY small and was most places were shut down in October when we went but we still really enjoyed our stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cliff House Hotel, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptional – warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, and the views are simply breathtaking. My room was beautifully decorated – cozy, stylish, and incredibly comfortable – a real haven to unwind in. Dinner in the restaurant was the highlight of my stay. The tasting menu was a true culinary journey, with every dish perfectly presented and bursting with flavour. It was, without question, the finest dining experience I’ve ever had. The Cliff House is an extraordinary place – luxurious yet relaxed – and I can’t wait to return.

I was so fortunate to find this hotel. Service was exceptional, and with a Michelin restaurant on site I don't think I need to elaborate further on the food. A very nice nature walk nearby - saw a ruined church, a shipwreck and two watchtowers!

Hi , Thanks for hosting us for my fiancé birthday. Standing ovation for the guy at the reception that welcomed us. Really great service and mannerisms from him. The room was quite spacious and with a great view on the sea. Bathroom includes above average size bath tub and big shower. There wasn't any bath soap included but we have bath salts from their spa included. In our package there was dinner included and It was all good but I feel I have to make a point on the dinner. I got the fish chowder which had a shortage of fish inside but lots of vegetables . Taste wise was good. I also had the sole which in my opinion wasn't the best as capers were laid on top and they were quite salty. Not a great combination when you think the fish is salty itself. The rest was amazing. The table was facing the sea so hands up on that. We also had our breakfast outside on the terrace the next morning as the weather was absolutely amazing. Before leaving we had our seaweed and peat bath outside which was amazing and relaxing. We asked to have a later checkout (12.30) as our bath was scheduled at 11 on the day of the departure. The girl receptionist wasn't very pleasing but she accomodate that at the end. I didn't feel the same positive vibes I felt from the man receptionist the day before. On checkout I was charged twice as the girl receptionist didn't check what has happened and that our package included the bath outside. I questioned the €110 overcharge but she didn't blink so I thought was my mistake and I don't like arguing at the reception. Upon checking I found out I was double charged and I email the hotel which refunded it straight away. * don't know the name of the staff so called them girl and man. I gave 4 stars as there is room for improvement but I might be back for sure. Best spa so far in the whole ireland. Dr ezio giulio landi

Outstanding from arriving here. Valet driver so friendly. Reception couldn't be nicer. Went above and beyond helping me with breakfast arriving and changing my treatments in spa. I had a gorgeous morning at the spa in the cliff last weekend with my best friend. The staff at the spa were so friendly, warm and welcoming. It was my first time using the outside baths, the overall experience was just amazing. Will most definitely be back. Thanks to the girls for taking such good care of us 😊

Absolutely lovely hotel, fabulous setting and lovely atmosphere. I enjoyed the food there as well. Staff were great
