The food was lovely and very tasty, and the homemade bread was especially delicious. However, we felt the restaurant was quite overpriced for what we received.
The service was rude from the start, which unfortunately affected our first impression. Thankfully, another member of staff took over serving us and the experience was much better from that point onwards.
Overall, it was a nice experience and we enjoyed the food, but I donβt think we would return, mainly because of the prices.

From the smile we received to the last morsel of Dessert,this wa simply an exquisite experience.The welcome when we came in settled us instantly.The food was incredible,tasty,hot, thought through, every dish was art on a plate.The use of herbs was wonderful.
I would return again and again.
A 100% perfect meal experience,food, service, ambience and welcome.

I have been going to The White Horses since 2003 and its always been my favourite.
There is always a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant interior is to a high standard. The staff are local and Irish and some I would think are family which is very refreshing in today's world. The food I would describe as being the nearest food you will get to "homemade". The vegetables are always so fresh that you can almost taste the earth. The meat and fish are local and fresh. You just know! The desserts are magnificent and are on display. The desserts are nostalgic and wonderful. Always wonderful treat. Keep up the high standard and well done to all involved.

Friendly owners and very accomodating with a seat in the garden in the shade as was especially requested on a hot day. Beautiful food and brilliant service. Highly recommend.

It was fine. I was quite upset when I was told off for smoking outside after specifically asking if I could before I lit up. I always check beforehand, and was spoken to like a naughty child. Food was great though.
