Coach Lane in Sligo

I loved the atmosphere 😍 cosy and lovely place. For starter, I ordered Tortillini, the main dish was beef, and the desert was a mix of tiramisu, creme brulle, and fruit cake with coffee. even though beef was a medium cooked one, it was one of the most delicious food 🥰 portions of main and starter were so big but desert was small. I absolutely recommend it 😊

What an absolutely fantastic place, the food was unbelievable, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The place was hoping the whole time we were there. Thank God we had a booking , when we arrived there was a queue waiting to get in the door. Highly recommend this place if you're in Sligo and want some good grub.

Stopped by while on vacation. Great place and delicious food. The waiter and bartender were very friendly, special thanks to the chefs who prepared delicious meals.

Food was amazing 10/10. However the experience was tainted as we found a live blue bottle fly in our glass of red wine. This was promptly replaced by staff and they apologised but really this shouldn't have happened in a restaurant of such a high standard. We mentioned it to the host upon paying and she was dismissive of same.

From the moment you enter Coach Lane you know you're in for a treat. The bar area booths were full of happy looking customers tucking into food and drinks. The aroma of fine food is amazing. We had a large group and were brought to the loft area where the service was simply outstanding!! The menu is class and caters for all...Steak & Seafood....unbelievable & delicious !!! Top Class and highly recommended!!! Looking forward to return trip already !!!

I went here for the Irish Stew and it was outstanding - served with complimentary housemade bread that was so flavorful I had to stop to save room for the Stew. The Stew was Guiness Beef Stew and the Beef was very flavorful along with the Stew mix of Carrots, Onions and mashed - don't ever lose that recipe!

As a repeat customer who has dined at Coach Lane fairly often and rated it 5-Star, it's saddening and a shame to see it has become the latest victim of the decline of the hospitality industry. Our party of 3 ordered the bruschetta, potato skins, and chowder to start. We noted that the price of these dishes had increased by a few euro, but we weren't bothered by this. However, we were surprised to see that the overall quality of the food had gone down. The chowder's recipe had worsened slightly, and the vegtables had gotten larger - leaving less room for the fish. The Bruschetta was served deconstructed, when before it was served properly. The potato skins were pretty good - except for the small plastic tub of sour cream that came with it. It would be nice if a restaurant of Coach Lane's calibre served it properly. Our mains consisted of the fish & chips, the special seafood linguine, and the special striploin (New York strip). The quality of food was excellent except for a couple of small nitpicks. The linguine was served with an absolutely huge mountain of mussels on top - which caused one of our party to have to fish (pun intended) for the other fish and the pasta itself. This caused them to only be halfway through their meal when myself and the other person had already finished. The striploin was an excellent cut of beef and cooked to perfection - however there was barely any seasoning. Each table's mains in the Coach Lane is served with a complimentary and generous portion of potatoes, turnip/swede, and red cabbage. Considering we were all stuffed after our starters and mains and didn't touch any of it, the restaurant could *easily* save hundreds of euro by just adding them to the optional sides that are on the menu. It's a complete waste of food. Once again, it's saddening to see the decline of a restaurant myself, my friends, and my family once enjoyed so much.

We stopped and finally found parking. We walked down the land to a cute bar and took photos out front. The burger I ordered was massive and tasted great as did the chips. The family at the bar struck up conversations to see if my partner might be related, what a friendly place.
