What an amazing place to get “the full Irish” at 7 am in the morning. The only place open that early in the morning!!! The owners were delightful and helpful about sights to see! Thank you so much

Lovely deli open during the weekday in ringsend which serves some nice coffee :) staff are very friendly and welcoming. They also have variety of breakfast and lunch meals :) I had 99s over the summer during the heatwave and they were divine :)

This is such a lovely corner shop! Really fresh and delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads plus they make their own overnight oats and homemade baked goods and the coffee is excellent. They also carry the biggest eggs that also often have double yolks for an excellent price and have some very nice treats in the back, including coffee beans roasted in dingle and other local Irish goods. There are picnic tables out in front where locals meet. The family that run the shop are lovely and also speak Irish— so give your cúpla focal a go!

17/01/2026: We booked a large party on short notice and the food, service and atmosphere were all amazing!
10/01/2026: First time dining at Matt the Thresher. Gorgeous decor and vibes and lovely staff. The service was excellent and the drinks were delicious. The night we were in was a little crowded and there were some very drunk, very loud tables around is which somewhat spoiled the atmosphere at times. My wife and I don't eat meat which somewhat limited the menu, she had the much lauded scampi and I ordered the vegetarian offering which was a squash gnocchi. The pasta dish was incredible, light, rich and delicious and a perfect portion size. The scampi, though very tasty, didn't quite live up to the hype or the nearly 40euro price tag. Definitely a good eat and a beautiful spot, but there are places to get an equally fantastic meal for half the price, so I can't give it the 5 star.

16/02/2026: Great pub with constant live music. Almost exclusively tourists, but that doesn't detract from the good atmosphere every day 💚
15/02/2026: This pub, similar to the classic and well-known Temple Bar, boasts excellent live music, featuring modern songs adapted to their own style. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's great on Fridays if you arrive early, but far too crowded on Saturday nights. Beers are €10, and the price of the "baby Guinness" shots is particularly noteworthy; they're simply Tia Maria or a similar liqueur with Baileys, also €10 each.
