Coffee Shop in Dublin

In an area full of good shops for food, Mellon's is the best by far - absolutely spectacular lunch sandwiches (with unique options every day), pastries, the best bread in Dublin that can't be gotten anywhere else, and great coffee - all with the friendliest owners and staff.

Mellon's is full of the sweetest and friendliest people, they made a tourist feel right at home. It was early in the morning yet they still went above and beyond hospitality, giving me suggestions and telling me the history of the neighborhood. Not to mention I had the most delicious Irish breakfast sandwich that I enjoyed on picnic table out front. I'm so glad I stopped by!

Stopped for a quick sandwich, I had never been in this shop before, have to say the quality of my sandwich was second to none, pricing was very reasonable, the service was also excellent and to find out the owner was a kerry woman made my day, can't wait to try some of there sweet desserts next time I am in the big smoke. Come across Mellons by accident while travelling for business, good food, friendly staff. Breakfast roll was outstanding.
