Very authentic Irish pub. The landlord was very welcoming. There are some great artefacts on display and the prices are extremely reasonable. Well worth a visit if you're in Cobh.

Best pub in town and we had an amazing time meeting the locals who were so welcoming of our dog Kinley. We were lucky to meet local legends Buster and Julie who played an amazing set and also made us feel so welcome.

A great local. Most enjoyable Murphy's, a great barmaid/woman/server/manager/owner! Being close to the waterfront I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. For Australians, you might be lucky enough to meet Dan Murphy!

10/10/2024: Good food, great views We were here for dinner after the cruise ship crowds had left. We saw the 2nd one leaving as we sat there. I had the Thai chicken red curry. It was mildly spicy and I would have preferred spicier, but the flavor was good. It could have had more vegetables in it as well. They were great, but not many. My wife had the chicken supreme which she thought was very good and she too really enjoyed the vegetables that were on the side of her dish. We had a table by the window and enjoyed the view until it got dark. The overhead lighting by the windows could be dimmed a little as after it got dark, all we could see was our reflections in the glass and the lights were brighter than we liked for a quiet dinner.

Hong Kong Kitchen

14/09/2023: The food was okay, the chicken wasn't great it was like jello, awful texture, taste wasn't too bad I guess. The duck was nice, noodles bit dry and starters were lovely, the spring rolls and prawn toast I really enjoyed. Wouldn't come back again though.
19/07/2023: If you're an asian food fanatic and want to satisfy your craving even in Cobh, you must visit this place. Firstly the place is very accessible and just next to the Deck of cards view point. Secondly the place has ample options to choose from and third the taste is exquisite. Loved their chilli garlic chicken. The chicken cheese rolls are a perfect starter. You get all the options from dry starters to curries and rice. Excellent place for travellers to grab lunch or dinner after sight seeing.
