Sweet pub to have a few drinks. Welcoming and cozy, quiet enough to have a conversation, lively enough to be fun.

The publican and patrons were very welcoming. The draft beer was delicious . Definitely a local pub that welcomes new people in.

A decent pint and nice enough but nothing exceptional

We were immediately warmly received by Steve, the barkeep with superb Irish coffees and friendly conversation after our overnight flight from the States. He, along with the other local gents at the bar, gave us a solid recommendations for local food and fare in Cobh and other towns along our way. Slightly apart from the crowds and bulk of the other waterfront pubs, Connie Doolan's offers a heartfelt welcome, smooth drinks, and authentic local atmosphere. I'll always cherish my first and best drink in Ireland at Connie Doolan's! And cheers to the Sunday-drinkin' gents at the bar and our laughs together!
