Conyngham Arms Hotel in Slane

Got married here and we stayed in the boyne house. Boyne house was unreal, rooms are massive and beds are really comfortable. Huge dining area where we had food brought over by the hotel. Food was so nice and the service was brilliant. Day of the wedding the hotel staff were unbelievable, from the floor staff to the bar staff. Special shout out to the unbelievable Tracy who was so helpful throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a venue for a wedding. You will be in great hands with Tracy.

Stopped by here recently for a meal with food excellently presented with a range of options on menu. Large portions and very tasty.

Had an amazing meal at Conyngham Arms Restaurant! The Caesar chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Baileys & dark chocolate cheesecake was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Top tier service, wonderful rooms with a comfy bed (no seriously 14days 6hotels across Ireland and this was the MOST comfortable bed!) and divine water pressure. Veggie breakfast was perfect for me and they accommodated my husband (who has many allergies, basically has to be fully vegan) without a second of hesitation. I would whole heartedly recommend Conyngham Arms to anyone who wishes to travel outside Dublin, we had an absolutely lovely stay.

Stayed here on 2 occasions whilst travelling for business. Great boutique Hotel. Old style but clean warm great staff and lovely food.

A review of their restaurant only - although the service received in the restaurant would probably be representative of the hotel in general. First and foremost the food in the restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend the fish and chips which both my wife and i had. My kids had the spaghetti from the kids menu and it was also excellent. However when i asked if they would put the Rugby match on the television i was told categorically no. Within 15 minutes the restaurant was empty and i asked again and i was told that the manager didnt allow it. A feeble effort was made 15 minutes later but quickly abandoned. One has to wonder why you have an expensive TV on the wall if you wont put the 6 nations on for the sole customer in the restaurant. But thankfully we went to Boyles and spent our money there instead. At least 2 other parties asked if they would put on the Rugby but we saw them all in Boyles when we went there. The bar in the Conyngham Arms was empty and the staff had their preference for music (Jazz and Irish) on instead. Of course we left 0% as a tip and definitely wont be back - inspite of the good food.

We had a great nights stay at Conyngham Arms. The room was comfortable, food and service was great.

We had both dinner and lunch here during our December stay in the area. The food was very good both lunch and dinner, they have a good selection of wines. The portions are ample.

We had a lovely meal with excellent service staff friendly meal well cooked nice environment would go again if back in slane
