The staff was very friendly and professional, nothing was a bother to them. The food was outstanding. I'll definitely be back.

A terrific dinner in very smart surroundings - beautiful chicken curry and a hake dish (special of the day). Lovely cocktail too. Very well presented and the service was personable and charming. My reason for not giving 5* was I was in the restaurant later for a drink, and saw what looked like a manager (possibly of the hotel or the restaurant) confront two staff in an insulting and rude way for talking to one another whilst there was a lull in the service (it was around 10pm so the area was pretty quiet), clearly ordering them to get back to work, as they immediately walked away from each other afterwards. I could not see exactly what was said but could hear him raise his voice in a rude way. This was unprofessional, and they looked shaken and upset afterwards. I would not want my manager to speak to me like that, and this ended the evening on a bad note.

The atmosphere and food were wonderful and made all the better by the attentive and thoughtful service of Hosea. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
