This place is a restaurant really not a pub. Nothing happens after food service finishes.... it dies. Which is not a problem as the food here is genuine. It's not posh with poor portion size.... its worth its price, at least it was the evening the 4 of us eat there, June '25. None of us had room for desert after a starter and main, we were full. Recommended.... peppered chicken, pan fried prawn in garlic butter and rice. Starter.... chowder and garlic bread... will keep all vampires away. Toilets, close by the side exit and basic not wheelchair friendly. Location, main street Lahinch, nothing easier. Seating and decor. Loads of old pictures of the local area.... nice. Tables ,chairs and wall side seating ..... jaded and old, time for a little investment I'd say. Staff, fast efficient and overworked when full although still polite and helpful. Barman with beard ... well switched on.... like a goalie running the show of walking trade and drinks supply. Would we go back again..... YES..... keep up the good work.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, it was a busy Saturday evening but the waitress fitted us in after a short wait and a drink at the bar. The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. We shared the fish cake for starter, it was delicious!! I had the chicken curry and my boyfriend had the steak.. both were so tasty! I would describe it as a casual dinner in a bustling atmosphere, the place was filled with character with good, homely cooking.

We had to he fish and chips. Not only was it a generous portion, it was delicious with a light batter. A must stop. A great place for lunch or dinner.

Joe's Cafe

13/07/2025: Hungry, we headed straight from the nearby beach to the first pizzeria we encountered in Lahinch, Joe's Cafe. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The mushroom pizzas we ordered were fantastic. What we didn't eat was packed in boxes. The service was very friendly, and although I didn't speak the language, I managed to communicate with them using Google Translate. I received a painted Atlantic pebble as a souvenir, which I took back to Poland. The only drawback was the cleaning of the place while we were still sitting at the table eating our local delicacy – and the dust is obvious. Thank you very much to the friendly waitresses for everything, and greetings from Częstochowa. 20/06/2025: The food and value for money are just right here. The food was delicious, and we loved the surfer bar atmosphere. The service was good, and the staff were cheerful. You can eat well here for a reasonable price.
