Country Bistro in Taghmon

Their catering was amazing. Solid choices everyone would like, done well, served hot & quickly to 50 people. They were cleaned up and gone before we knew it. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

I've heard alot of people recommending this place so finally decided to give it a go once and for all. Welcomed in the minute we entered and shown to our seats. Both got a full breakfast and which both were lovely. The fry also came with a bowl of chips on the plate which is different than most places. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

My mam and i love going here for lunch. The food selection is great. The portions are huge. The staff could'nt be nicer and there's always a welcoming atmosphere when we arrive. We visit here a lot.

What a little gem this Bistro is. A great variety of dishes, good size portions and reasonably priced. The staff are very pleasant and lovely interesting photos and prints on the wall. I'll be back.

While the food was acceptable, we felt very rushed throughout lunch. The waitress asked for our drinks orders before we had even sat down and, when they didn't have what I ordered (sparkling water), brought another drink for me without asking what I would prefer, which seemed very odd. We were then immediately asked what we wanted to eat and, despite asking for some time to decide, she was back within 90 seconds to ask if we were ready yet. During our meal we were asked 3 times if everything was ok and as soon as we were done the plates were whisked away. It was a very strange experience given that the restaurant was, while busy, nowhere near full. All in all, the food was ok but the experience was disconcerting.

Excellent spot for Breakfast. We drove 20+ mins just to go here. Well worth the journey. Breakfast was excellent value for money and best of all...we were able to sit outside with our dog and enjoy our food. Staff friendly and helpful.

Fabulous lunch served by Sean Doyle ,who was pleasant ,and delivered a lovely service Service was quick food , tasty and fairly priced Definitely will return. Outdoor seating available. One tip stock snipes of procosso or cava , but will still come back !!
