Craft Shack in Galway

I came off the train needing to kill a few hours and asked a few locals where to go, they pointed me in the direction of Craft Bistro. Sean served me and was absolutely lovely. Aaron the chef sorted me well out and the food was delicious, even down to the Potato Farls on the fry. Who'd have thought random late breakfast in Athlone you'd be trying new things but here we are. Lovely spot, lovely town.

Decided to stop for lunch in Athlone to break up our drive from Dublin to Galway. Found this via TA while planning our trip. It was Easter Monday and we were happy they were open. Location: Seems to be a main street with shops and restaurants. Found street parking a short walk around the bend. Service: Nice. Checked on us just the right amount of times. Food: Had a vegetarian version of an Irish breakfast and it was plentiful food and tasted good. Hubby had scrambled eggs and enjoyed his dish.

Family friendly reasonably priced lunch with excellent attentive staff. Would recommend as a spot you can enjoy lunch while having a conversation

Staff are very welcoming and friendly and service is promt. Food is very good but quality of breakfast sausage could be better. Other than that it is a fantastic spot .
