Crane Bar in Galway

This is a great pub with traditional Irish music and a great atmosphere. The music is variable often depending on the night of the week. There have been world class traditional Irish musicians who have played here simply because they like the owner Recently Mike McGolderick, Dezi Donnelly and Tim Eady lifted the rafters with their brilliance with Sean Smyth joining them for a few tunes. Never saw any session as breathtakingly good as that.

Outstanding live music. Every song played was from memory and partially improvised. Members of the audience who brought their own instrument (shout out to the woman who played the accordion) were invited up to play with the group. 10/10 Guinness.

Authentic Irish pub, there were playing music when we were there and it was great! It was nice to see younger kids playing music!
