Croft Alley in Portlaoise

Always a favourite of mine! The pacing of service, the flavour and quality of the food, the professionalism of staff, just perfect. Staff are very attentive to customers and just very friendly. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Croft alley food is genuinely a little bit of Italy in Portlaoise- the food is as authentic as been in Rome or Florence, the pizza are just delicious and we love their in house Tiramisu (it’s all maybe even nicer than in Italy) Yes highly recommend Croft Alley in every way. Imelda and Joe

The girl taking the order on the phone didn't seem to know what was on the menu. She told me what I was ordering wasn't on the menu when it clearly was and I told her it was but she just kept saying it wasnt. I had to order something else. We told her when we got there to pick up our pizza and she didn't seem bothered. Very rude young girl that didn't seem bothered. We got 2 pizzas to share but they didn't cut them for some reason. Not ideal when you are in a car with no Cutlery and sharing. Like a pizza place that doesn't cut the pizza....crazy. As for the pizza itself, it was beautiful.

Great starters and pizza, nice location, cozy and atmospheric. Really loved it, not too pricey either.

Everything about this experience was great. The starters were incredibly good value with garlic bread the size of a pizza and high quality bruschetta. The pizza itself was also extremely tasty - the dough in particular. The staff were super nice and helpful and the overall atmosphere (sitting outside) was very pleasant with flowers set up everywhere I looked.

What a lovely spot in portlaoise that I seemed to never notice before. The pizza here is incredible. The price is actually reasonable for the quality of pizza. You can get the pizza to takeaway which I have done a few times now and it's quite speedy. My only little problem is that the pasta dishes are quite small for the price.

I like my pizzas and was looking forward to trying one here. The toppings were plentiful, and the pizza was cooked perfectly.

Oh My god. The Pizza was to die for. I normally wouldn’t order pizza in a restaurant. I’m glad I did. The dessert was Devine. Service was excellent. Espically from a young lad. He is a credit to the place.. Attentive and pleasant. We dint wait long for the food. Some people told me. The food was expensive there. Me and my beautiful partner. Found it very reasonable. Great experience. Our new dining place

We had a delicious meal in Croft Alley, a marinara pizza and al amatriciana, both served piping hot. The waitress was very attentive. Highly recommend if you are in Portlaoise!
