Cuan Mhuire Restaurant in Athy

15/09/2026: Lovely Italian restaurant. As a gluten free vegetarian I had the choice of gf pasta, pizza or risotto. Special desserts too. Great food and lovely owner and staff.

02/09/2026: We visited Mani on Monday 31 August it's a small restaurant and takeaway on the high street. We both had Lasagne the layers of pasta, alternating with fillings such as ragù (ground meats and tomato sauce), béchamel sauce, vegetables, cheeses was a bit disappointing. The meat ingredient was small. Detectable only by it's far lower temperature than the sauce or pasta. Perhaps we separated the meet we found too early from the tomato sauce and pasta mix! Still a cook should not have released the dish for consumption until core tempt had stabilised over some minutes. The restaurant was not busy one other dining guest and an occasional takeaway customer. Service was quick. I don't have a convincing reason to return or to recommend this place.
