Danaghers Hotel in Conga

16/12/2025: Unfortunately the food fell short of expectations this time, roast potatoes came out cold and the veg also. On a plus note the beef was very good, the service was very good also

13/12/2025: Dropped in on a whim for Breakfast. We had a magnificent view across the Vale of Aylesbury, Mentmore Towers basking in the sunlight and could see miles across the Vale to the wind turbines the other side of the A5 past Leighton Buzzard. There was a low laying mist, so it looked almost coastal. Food was, as usual, very nice. We love that you can pick what you want and the portion size too. Icing on the cake for us was our lovely lady waitress. Only two on front of house, the waitress plus her manager. She worked at pace, but still had a moment for a happy chat with her customers. Clearly someone who was enjoying her job. All this for just over a tenner each. There's a reason we go there a few times a year.
