Datsé's Café & Cakes in Cavan

We were on holiday in Cavan for a week and on 3 occasions we visited Datse’s Cafe for lunch as we had been there before. Good variety of food available which was delicious, the staff are the most cheerful, helpful people you could meet. We had lunch today in Datses cafe....the toasties were delicious with very generous filling...the coffee was excellent.....loved the decor ....the staff were very friendly and efficient. Just loved everything about this busy cafe.... we'll definitely be back.

The best cafe in all of Cavan. We come to Datse’s every week; absolutely love the coffee, matcha, the energy balls, gorgeous bounty dates, salad bowls, toasties, loaded baked potatoes. There is something here for everyone. The owner and staff give so much attention to detail in this cafe which I absolutely love. Even on holidays we miss datse’s that’s how good this place is. An absolute gem in the middle of cavan town. 💘

Everything was fresh and homemade. Cakes, salads, and iced tea! Very friendly and attentive service. The taste was almost perfect. Highly recommended.

I know l dont have to sell this cafe judging from all the customers that go there but l just want it to be known how much l love this place. I can only visit when l am on my trip from dublin to spend a few hours in cavan. It is my first "go to" place. It is so comfortable, the food is mighty, the coffee is lovely and all the staff are super nice. Cant wait to go there again.
