Davitt's in Kenmare

Great Sunday roast and very attentive service. The starters were so good we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo before finishing them. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Kenmare!

After traveling around Ireland for a week, Davitt’s was our unanimous favorite stay, largely due to the boundless hospitality of our host, David. We found Davitt’s to be the perfect place for a good night’s sleep and home base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed our conversations and helpful tips from David at breakfast, where everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Kenmare and particularly this B&B.

Really enjoyed our stay at Davitts. We have stayed there a few times and it’s consistently really great, in terms of food & accommodation. Rooms are lovely and bright and spotlessly clean. David is an amazing host who shows genuine interest in all his guests. Will definitely stay here again.

A true highlight of our Irish journey! The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming. It’s easily the most charming and friendly place we’ve discovered in Ireland so far. We felt right at home.

Fantastic location with fantastic staff

Davitts kenmare situated at the centre of kenmare. The rooms are lovely , warm and spacious, the service in bar was great, and dietary needs were fulfilled. The food is absolutely delicious and staff are very friendly. David served breakfast in the morning and couldn't be any more helpful. Very chatty , friendly with a warm welcome. A Family run business with exceptional chef.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for my first trip to Ireland. A big thank you to David and all at davitt’s for such a lovely stay, couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Hopefully we will be back soon

Myself and my partner booked Davitt's as a last minute trip away. It's location was originally what pulled us there, right in the heart of Kenmare. There is parking on the street right outside, which was free over the weekend but limited to two hours midweek. There is a free carpark about 200 metres down the road which is very easy accessible also. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable and it had all amenities in the bathroom. David served us breakfast both mornings which was the highlight of the stay. Both were massive portions and the food was outstanding. We had dinner here one night which was also fabulous. Would highly recommend the French toast, Irish breakfast and eggs benedict from the breakfast menu and the lamb shank and duck from the dinner menu. All staff we met during our stay and during service were brilliant. We used Davitt's as a base to explore Kenmare, the surrounding areas and West Cork. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good base, great food and excellent hospitality.
