A historic place from the 60s, 70s and 80s...there is no world-famous rock musician who hasn't played here...from Hendrix, Jeff Beck, McCartney, Springsteen, Bono Vox, etc... Top atmosphere and drinks...reasonable prices... For every recommendation, A great discovery in a small town.

Without question this is one of the finest Pubs in Ireland. Absolutely legendary place for great live music. A must visit if you are in West Cork.

What a fab spot for food, pints and music! The sandwiches were out of this world and the pizza was next level! And then we saw a gig out the back and it was terrific! Great sound and fun atmosphere. All the staff were so helpful too.

There are far better pubs in Clonakilty. In fimor a few pints, which were good... bar staff weren't interested in engaging with customers or being friendly, so we left and found other pubs.

A fantastic club in Clonakilty, Ireland. Great sight lines and sound system. I was here at the best time of year for Guitar Fest. Babyrat and The Kate's were so so great!

Absolutely incredible evening. Seven very talented local musicians, plus the occasional acapella song from an audience member. Beautiful lively Irish "Trad" music in a cozy, intimate setting.

10/01/2026: Really lovely pub with a friendly, cosy atmosphere. We were allowed to bring in our dog and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating.
01/01/2026: We spent New Year’s Eve there last night and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and everything was so well organised. Great music, great drinks, and such a lovely crowd. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
